AQUALUMIA
2026 commission by ARTYARD and Studio Route 59, Frenchtown, NJ.
Created for the biannual community event ARTYARD in Frenchtown, NJ. A shadow-light aquarium inside a 40 ft. pole tent. Musical accompaniment by Cindertalk, wine glass virtuoso. This exquisite underwater world was created with paper and light. Fish inside the underwater world were created in collaboration with artists from nearby Studio Route 29, a supported art studio for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The one-night event featured dance, choirs, projected animation, illuminated costumes, bird whistles, and much jolly making.
